My Daddy

He works with wood and stone

To feed his hungry kids; I preach because I love it

He so often says.

A simple country preacher man:

Street preacher some say.

Some even call him crazy,

I think a loving kind of way.

He wouldn’t harm a butterfly:

But fight a circle saw.

Gentleman of course, scholar no

But always true to word.

Atlanta to Bryson City

Knoxville to Madisonville;

Our voices rise and mingle,

I’ll Fly Away Oh Glory!

With his family he travels;

From city to country town,

He don’t preach for money

But for the Promised Land:

A sight to behold

This preacher and gloried crew

Wife, unceasing child in arms;

Seven the youngest me:

City people gaping at,

The little girl in a tattered coat

The little blond boy plays his banjo

Mama whispers under breath

Winter nights I hear him

While I am warm and snug in bed

He’s hunkered down behind the woodstove

Wrapped up in Mama’s quilt

Strong voice from heart interceding

For the lost and lonely souls

For this preacher is a Warrior

With a Breast Plate made of Gold

His hair now not silver

His back not slightly bent

For he’s preaching to God’s Angels

This is a confirmation of my ministry;

Time March 21, 1987 (Roman Time)

Abib 1^st (Bible Time) Exodus 12:2

This is a confirmation of my ministry from July 1926 until July 1986 which is sixty full years of travel with Jesus known to me as my School Master. (Galatians 12:2)

No. 1: In July of 1926 after eight days of prayer and seeking the lord I saw our Lord Jesus Christ in Angelic form. From that time on my life was never the same.

No. 2: In 1938 I received a tongue talking Holy Ghost after two years of seeking God. In 1940 I was called into the ministry and in 1946 I received the Jesus Name Ministry and was sent to confirm. (Acts 2:38) Also, with a confirmation of St. Mark 16:15-18. This was my Evangelical Ministry which finished in 1986.

No. 3: In 1986 Jesus brought me a New Light and told me what the “Faith that was once delivered to the Saints” was and what the “Everlasting Gospel was. It is one thing to read something biblical and another thing to have it confirmed by God’s Great Holy Ghost!

No. 4: In my forty years of Evangelical Ministerial Ministry I taught the Bible new Birth was to obey Acts of the Apostles 2:38 and when we obeyed this Bible scripture we would receive the Holy Ghost as taught in Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-48, acts 19:1-6.

No.5: I taught that repentance was to quit breaking God’s Law and that sin was the transgression of God’s Law. I John 3:4. And, that God’s 10 Commandment Law was written with the Finger of God and was a perpetual Covenant never to be altered substituted or changed. (A sign forever, Exodus 31:17).

No.6: The Great God confirmed this Evangelical Ministry through me for “Forty Years” with 16^th chapter of Mark. From Mark 16:15-18; “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved and he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe.”

Ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

No.7: I taught that Saturday, not Sunday is God’s Holy Sabbath and that God’s Sabbath is a perpetual Covenant, never to be altered or changed. I taught the Sabbath is God’s Holy Day. (Isaiah 58:13) And Jesus said in mark 2:27-28 the Sabbath was made for man. John said in Revelation 1:10, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day” not Sunday. Apostle Paul was in 84 direct Sabbath services in the Book of Acts of the Apostles and he never said one thing about it being changed to Sunday, search it out for yourselves.

No.8: I taught the Holy Ghost is a true experience that a person can receive after they have repented and been baptized according to Acts 2:38. If you seek the Lord you can receive a True experience like the 120 did on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:4) and like the Gentiles in Acts 10:46. Apostle Peter said in Acts 10:34, “of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.”

No. 9: I taught the literal communion and foot washing as taught by Christ Jesus just before His Death, Burial and Resurrection. St John 13:12-17 and taught by Paul in I Corinthians 11:23-29 and I Timothy 5:10.

No. 10: I taught true holiness and to follow peace with all men without which no man would see God, Heb 12:14.

No. 11: I taught the literal visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ as taught in Acts 1:8-11, also Jude 14-15. Enoch the seventh from Adam prophesied of these things saying, “behold the lord cometh with ten thousand of His Saints to Execute judgment upon all and to convince all that are ungodly. Revelation 20:11-12 John saw a White Throne Judgment; I believe this will be a visible White Throne Judgment with Jesus Christ as judge.

As I begin to bring this write-up to a close I believe I will leave this thought with you, the reader; I believe in the Oneness of the Father. the Son and the Holy Ghost. (John 5:7, John 10:30) All of this was taught to me by the Holy Ghost and the written Word of God. In 1970 the Great God spoke to me and told me that was my School Master and teaching which is to lead me to the Fullness of God’s True light. So take it, search it out with the True Bible Teaching and accept it as you can see. A-men
